Hill in West Sussex claims to have developed the world’s smallest
broadcast-quality microphone. A pressure sensor and field-effect transistor
amplifier are packed into a 2.5-millimetre cylinder. It is easily hidden in an
actor’s hair, or could be used as a bug. The mike also records ultrasound, from
bats, for example.
