When I stand in a hot bath, I often have to lift my left foot out quickly because it hurts. But it doesn鈥檛 seem as painful with my right foot, and I don鈥檛 have to retract it. I get into the bath left-foot first, and I鈥檓 right-handed (and right-footed, back when I played football). Can this be explained?
