Win the CultureLab science books of 2015

Giving gifts is a lot of fun but trying to please those science and technology fans among your family and friends can be really daunting. Amid all the dazzle and high-tech gizmos, it’s easy to forget just how much the right book can mean to someone.

We’ve got a pile of wonderful reads: from a bestselling physics primer, to the new science of the self, and not forgetting the sheer fun of how to clone a mammoth. They’re all in our favourite reads of 2015 – you can see them all here.

Best of all, one lucky reader can win all 12 of the featured books to give as last-minute presents – or keep for their own bookshelves.

For a chance to win, all you need to do is tell us how many books are in the prize. Submit your answer via email to competitions@newscientist.com using “鶹ý Christmas Book Competition” in the subject line, or click on the link below. Competition entries must include: full name, email address, and a postal address so we can deliver the prize to you.

Competition closes 17 December 2015 18:00 GMT. Please read our competition terms and conditions (below) before sending in your entry.
