Do dads matter? At Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Live next month, evolutionary anthropologist will explain the science of fatherhood and why dads are particularly important for protecting children’s mental health.

Based at the University of Oxford, Machin’s research focuses on the psychology and neuroscience of our social relationships. In her talk, she’ll reveal how a man’s biology changes when he becomes a parent, how his genes help determine what kind of dad he’ll be, and the valuable roles fathers can play in children’s lives.
