Medical lasers, advanced microsurgery and ultra-high resolution imaging all form part of the tool-kit for ophthalmologist. At Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Live next month,  will explain how artificial intelligence will soon be playing a role too, such as in the project announced between AI company DeepMind and Moorfields Eye Hospital in 2016.

Based at Moorfields Eye Hospital, Keane specialises in applied ophthalmic research, with a particular interest in retinal imaging and new technologies.
