Insects hold the key to our survival –  and we need to realise this before it’s too late. So entomologist will argue at Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Live next month, as he explores the question of “What have insects ever done for us?â€

McGavin will explore the fascinating natural history of insects, the most species-rich and abundant group of multicellular organisms ever to have evolved on our planet. They were among the first animals to conquer land and the first to take to the air. In fact, insects play a vital role in land-based ecosystems and we ignore them at our peril.
