Physicists now deal with petabytes (one million gigabytes) of data on a regular basis. The research community is turning to visualising software to extract meaning from all of that information.

This month, the celebrates the stunning results of that process, with a series of images from the very small – the internal structure of bone – to the very large – the collision between two neighbouring galaxies.
