Deadly new flu virus in US and Mexico may go pandemic

A novel flu virus has struck hundreds of people in Mexico, and at least 18 have died. This interactive map by tracks the latest cases.

Pink markers are suspected cases; purple markers are confirmed. Markers without a dot indicate at least one fatality. Yellow markers are negative.
