Animal autopsy: Inside the world's biggest animals

Why do elephants have trunks? How did whales evolve from land mammals? What is a giraffe’s long neck for?

These are just some of the questions a new Channel 4 documentary series will attempt to answer with the help of CGI, wildlife photography and the first ever televised dissections of a whale, a giraffe, a crocodile and an elephant.
