How do you look at art? Take part in an experiment

25 September 2013

What do scientists make of art? Do they share particular tastes or perspectives? Do male scientists experience art differently from their female counterparts?

Jenny Waller and colleagues at the University of Reading, UK, are conducting an experiment to find out the answers to these questions, and they would like Â鶹´«Ã½ readers to take part. All you have to do is complete a capturing your preferences in regard to some famous and much less famous works of art. It probably won’t take more than 15 minutes, and you’ll get an indication of where you stand relative to other participants.
