THIS radar balloon, which is now on show at Rio Grande City in Texas,
will help to track planes that are smuggling drugs into the US. The balloon,
which is 73 metres long, is filled with helium and will be tethered on a
cable nearly 5 kilometres long. The device was made by General Electric
Government Services.
