What else is there to say about New and Improved Stupid Mac Tricks by Bob Levitus (AP Professional, $19.95, ISBN 0 12 445578 6)? It’s new and the 17 software “toys” it provides are definitely stupid. Some are annoying pranks – you can make naive Mac users think their hard disc has been erased, for example. Others are just entertainment, like the eyeballs that follow your mouse pointer around. Most can be found on the Internet for free, so it’s hard to see why you’d spend $19.95 on this book and disc combo.
