You are a scientist and you want the world to know how exciting your work is.
How do you do it? Do you go to the press? Can you get them to come to you? What
should you wear on TV? Going Public is a sort of rough guide to science
communication aimed primarily at British scientists, and produced by the
Department of Trade and Industry (DTI/pub2392/5K/9/96/NP, free. Tel: 0171 271
2147, Fax: 0171 271 2016). A clumsy read, but it proved useful and interesting
all the same.
