The Sciencesoft Calculator looks and feels like a powerful desktop calculator
for working on a Windows PC (£99, £59 with educational discount, 2
discs plus manual). It is easier and far cheaper than specialist maths programs,
but can do all the usual stuff in familiar ways. It also handles matrices, draws
graphs (including curve-fitting) and has constants for repetitive work. It is
handy for a PC user, but at 10 times the price of a pocket calculator, do check
out that it is what you need.
