Most classical composers are long dead, so copyright is not a problem. There
are more than 4000 Midi files in the classical music archives on
http://www.prs.net/midi.html. The files vary in quality. Some are great but the
first movement of Beethoven’s Pathétique piano sonata seems
rather plodding.
