Double bubble

By Barry Fox

23 May 1998

Gary Robson bemoans the fact that once a canned drink has been opened, the
contents go flat if they are not drunk quickly. But cans often contain too much
to drink at once.

Robson’s answer is a twin-compartment drinks container (GB 2 315 057). It
resembles an ordinary can, but has an internal wall that divides it into two
vertical halves, each with its own ring pull at the top. The chambers can either
hold the same drink or different flavours for variety.
