Telecommunications workers in Britain are to be studied by the National
Radiological Protection Board to investigate the health effects of radio waves.
Those who work near masts broadcasting at frequencies between 300 kilohertz and
300 gigahertz—which includes the frequencies used by mobile phones and
television—will have their health records monitored over the next three
years.
