Britain is setting up an expert panel to examine the health effects of mobile
phones—the subject of a special investigation in last week’s
Â鶹´«Ã½ (10 April, p 20).
“To date there has been no consistent evidence
suggesting risk to health but there is continuing public concern,” says public
health minister, Tessa Jowell.
The panel will review published and ongoing research and will be convened by
the National Radiological Protection Board.
