Transforming Electricity, by Walt Patterson, reads like bits of three books
crammed together, a simple guide to generation and distribution, a critique of
present systems and a look at a future of inevitable revolution. It is not an
easy book to tackle, but perseverance pays off. You will be informed. The author
does use terms such as “dramatic upheaval”, `’turmoil” and so on. In the context
they are probably justifiable. Published by Earthscan, £12.99, ISBN
185383341X.
