If you fancy changing the photographs on your mantelpiece every day, then a
digital picture frame hooked up to the Internet could be just the thing for you.
Two Californian companies, Ceiva Logic and Weave Innovations, have developed
frames that consist of a liquid-crystal display with a built-in modem. The
devices, which cost $249 and $299 respectively, can not only
display pictures stored in their memories, but allow you to send or receive
pictures using the modem. They can automatically download and display pictures
