The Internet has taken armchair adventuring to new frontiers by offering
travellers the means to send out nearly instant reports and photos from
far-flung destinations. Thankfully, there are people out there willing to do the
hard work of exploring the globe and then let us in on a bit of the action. For
those of us just as happy to skip the cramped quarters and stomach-churning seas
that go with ocean exploration, virtual seabed travel is particularly
attractive.
