A miniature lie detector that can be plugged into a cellphone, or even your
TV, has arrived. The Handy Truster, from 911 Computer of Seoul, Korea, uses
traditional polygraph voiceprint analysis to detect when the person you are
listening to is (allegedly) lying. The Truster’s screen includes an icon of an
apple—and whenever the software detects untruths, a bite is taken out of
the apple (http://911.co.kr/Truster). You can even use the device “with your
sweetheart” to check, for example, if they really did work late at the
office.
