A DRUG that combats high blood pressure also helps men with the condition
suffering from impotence. Researchers in the US and Spain, led by Carlos
Ferrario of Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in North Carolina,
studied 82 men with high blood pressure who reported sexual problems. After
taking the drug losartan, nearly 90 per cent of the men said their sex lives had
improved (American Journal of the Medical Sciences, vol 321, p
336).
