Who cares about encryption? Caspar Bowden does, and he thinks everyone else should too. A former investment banker, he has made it his mission to help people protect their electronic privacy. He stresses he is not a campaigner, yet as director of the Foundation for Information Policy Research (FIPR) in London he has united civil rights activists, business people and the Internet community on this issue.
