A TINY hairgrip-like device should make vasectomies quicker and less painful,
and encourage more men to take responsibility for family planning.

And if men decide they want more children, the clip could also make it easier
to reverse the procedure. “I am confident that this clip will revolutionise
vasectomies and become the standard,” says urologist Douglas Schow of the
Minnesota Men’s Health Center, who is in charge of an ongoing clinical
trial.

The polymer VasClip, produced by VMBC of Minnesota, is based on the clips
