The Incredible Internet by Michael Cox (Hippo, £4.99) is for people who don’t remember what it was like before the Internet, for whom Tim Berners-Lee is a figure almost as remote as Halley. It’s fun, with the hackers’ hall of fame, “speak like a geek”, weird websites and a pre-school Indian web page designer.
