Polaroid has seen the market for film cameras hit badly by the advent of digital photography. But now it is planning to fight back – with a single-use digital camera (WO 02/096090/1).
The cameras will have a simple lens, image sensor and microchip memory, but no LCD screen and no computer connections, to keep the cost down.
