Christopher Reeve studied drama at the Juilliard School in New York. He played both on and off Broadway until he hit the big time in the Superman movies. Reeve has also starred in film adaptations of major novels, including The Bostonians. He took up riding after being cast as Count Vronsky in Anna Karenina.
