OLLY and Suzi paint animals in the wild – not unusual, but there’s something different about Olly and Suzi.
Their art is interactive in the most direct way. The general pattern is: find the animal, track it, confront it, paint it, encourage the animal to participate, and get out. Animals sniffed them (brown bear in Alaska, cheetahs in Namibia), even bit them (great white shark off South Africa).
Their 250 pages of paintings, photographs and notes are often remarkable.…
