VACCINES produced by edible fish could soon be eaten sushi-style.

Zhiyuan Gong of the National University of Singapore is working on creating a zebrafish that produces hepatitis B antigen in its muscles. The fish would have to be eaten raw, as the antigen protein would break down during cooking, Gong told the 19th International Congress of Genetics in Melbourne last week.
