Bed-wetters can't breathe easy

BREATHING problems are to blame for many cases of bed-wetting in children, and perhaps even in some adults too. And a simple treatment might solve the problem within weeks.

That, at least, is the claim of a few researchers. If you find it implausible, you are not the only one. “When I speak to professionals, they shake their heads in disbelief,” says Derek Mahony, an orthodontist in Sydney, Australia, who is about to start a trial of a potential treatment. Very few doctors and parents are even aware there may be a link, he says.
