DRIVERLESS CAR
Toyota has unveiled a single-seater concept car that communicates with other vehicles, allowing it to follow a lead car automatically. So while the cars’ occupants chat, the system takes complete control. The electric Toyota PM, shown last week at the Tokyo Motor Show, has a pod-like cabin suspended between four wheels that steer independently, giving it the ability to turn on the spot.
