AFTER being banished by many to the realms of pseudoscience, a review by the US Department of Energy is promising to bring cold fusion back in from the…well, cold.
James Decker, deputy director of the department’s office of science, has pledged to review evidence from the past 15 years of research in the controversial field. The study could be completed by January 2005 and might open up the possibility of funding for cold fusion research projects.
