Voicemail tickets, please

When you book a visit to the theatre or cinema by phone, you could be admitted at the door simply by waving your cellphone past a computer at the ticket office, says Qualcomm of San Diego, California (WO 2004/3694).

You book a ticket to an event via a cellphone call, and the venue sends you a confirmation code in the form of a short audio message, which is saved on your phone as a voicemail.
