If you want to dazzle your future boss with your resumé or CV, post it on a website. Job applicants who submit web-based resumés are considered more intelligent and generally better qualified for their work, a study suggests.

Psychologists Peter Elgin of Kansas State University in Manhattan and Maria Clapham of Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, wrote a fictitious resumé for an imaginary man called Chris Murphy and made up a job description for a journalism post he might apply for.
