Spot the planet

The Hubble Space Telescope may have snapped the first image of a planet in another solar system. Extrasolar planets are usually hard to see directly, but this one’s infrared glow is visible because it appears to be orbiting a dim white dwarf at a great distance. To confirm it is not a star, astronomers will look again in several months’ time.
