Edible caterpillars, grubs and insects should be embraced as a source of protein-rich food in central Africa. Richer in protein and calories than beef and fish, they could help combat malnutrition in children, the UN’s Food and Agriculture Organization said in a report on Monday.
Spammers face jail
Fraudsters Jeremy Jaynes, aged 30, and Jessica DeGroot, 28, could become the first people to be jailed for spamming. The brother and sister amassed $24 million from internet scams involving bogus products. A Virginia judge will decide in February whether they will serve their nine-year jail terms.
