MERCURY pollution from crematoria might seem a ghoulish topic, but you never know where the next pollutant is coming from. Dental fillings are now reckoned to be the largest single source of mercury emissions in the UK (Â鶹´«Ã½, 15 January, p 5). The government has given crematoria until 2012 to halve their emissions.
