Greenhouse effect predicted

One of the talking points at the annual meeting of the American Association for the Advancement of Science was the likelihood of a warming “greenhouse effect” produced by a build-up of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. So far, predictions of this have been rather vague, accurately reflecting deficiencies in the understanding of the mechanisms of climatic change.
