Caught by Venus
Venus Express was about to reach its goal as Â鶹´«Ã½ went to press. The European probe was due to fire its main engine for 53 minutes on Tuesday, allowing it to be captured by Venus’s gravity. It is due to study the planet from an orbit that will take it within 250 kilometres of the surface.
