Deliver goods by 'flying whale' mail

IT LOOKS rather like a flying whale, and its developers claim it will provide a low-cost, efficient way of transporting goods, particularly in countries with poor infrastructure.

Dynalifter, a cross between an airship and an aircraft, is due for its maiden test launch over Ohio this summer. Developed by Robert Rist and Brian Martin of Ohio Airships in Mantua, it flies using a combination of buoyancy and aerodynamic lift.
