Too comfortable with catastrophe

“CLIMATE is an angry beast, and we are poking it with sticks.” The famous quip by oceanographer Wally Broecker is as true today as when he made it in 1997. More and more people are beginning to understand the dangers of climate change, but the poking still continues, and there are many more words than actions.
