Feed the Hungary lab rats

A strange echo of the tragedy which has overtaken Hungary reached London last week at about the same time as the first wave of refugees fleeing the enemy-occupied streets of Budapest.

An urgent message from the director of the Hungarian Institute for Cancer Research in Budapest said that their laboratories had run out of food for their experimental animals and that it was very difficult to see where new supplies could be found while the Soviet Union armed forces remained in control.
