Self-appointed science censors exposed

SUPPRESSING science that doesn’t toe the White House line is standard procedure at US federal agencies.

Last year two workers at NASA and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration accused PR officers of muzzling climate scientists (Âé¶¹´«Ã½, 25 February 2006, p 7). Now two non-profit groups based in Washington DC have investigated seven government agencies to see how pervasive the practice is.
