Cloning scientist verdict

A South Korean court has found disgraced cloning scientist Woo Suk Hwang guilty of embezzling government funds and breaching the country’s bioethics law. Hwang received a suspended sentence, rather than the four-year prison term sought by prosecutors, leaving him free to continue his privately funded work on animal cloning.
