WITH headlines such as “Jobless Total Climbs to 2.4 Million” and “Recession Forces a Million to Work Part-Time” hitting the papers in the first half of 2009, you could be forgiven for thinking that the state of the job market was dire. But do such doom-laden stories provide the whole picture?
