Food poisoning arrests
In China 2000 people have been arrested and 5000 businesses shut down in a bid to improve food safety standards. The country has been hit by several tainted-food scandals in recent years. In 2008, 300,000 of its citizens became sick and at least six babies died after consuming milk powder that contained melamine.
