Pipeline dropped
US president Barack Obama has delighted environmentalists by rejecting plans for a vast pipeline to carry oil from Canada’s tar sands to the Gulf of Mexico. The company behind the Keystone XL pipeline, TransCanada, plans to try again using a different route.
