Keiko was the first captive orca to be released into the wild, after starring in the film Free Willy. A new series follows his journey after being captured near Iceland in 1979, then transported around the world before being fully released in 2002. Keiko’s story can teach us a great deal about our troubled relationship with other animals and the challenges of righting the wrongs of our past.
