Edd Gent is a freelance science writer who focusses on emerging technology across computing, engineering, energy and bioscience. For Â鶹´«Ã½ he has covered everything from the automated bots that run the internet to electronic skin and dancing robots. He has been based in Bangalore, India, since 2014 and has written for the BBC, MIT Technology Review, and Science among others. He is also a contributing editor at IEEE Spectrum. Prior to that he was a news reporter at E&T magazine in the UK.
